Terms of Service

Effective date: October 22, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of www.assurancegroupofamerica.com, our online tools, website chat, client portal, and our phone, text and email communications (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

The Services are provided by Assurance Group of America, Inc. (“Assurance Group,” “we,” “us”), a Florida corporation and independent insurance agency, at 1631 NW St Lucie West Blvd, Suite 101, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986. As of the effective date, we are licensed to sell insurance in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee and Virginia, and we are expanding to other states. The current list is on our Licenses page (see section 9). These terms apply to visitors and clients in every U.S. state.

2. Insurance quotes and coverage

  • No coverage until bound. Submitting a quote request, form, chat or message does not create insurance coverage. Coverage starts only when an insurance company or its authorized representative binds it and confirms it to you in writing.
  • Quotes are estimates. Quotes depend on the information you give and on each insurance company’s underwriting. Final premium, terms and eligibility are set by the insurance company and may change after review of driving records, loss history, inspections or audits.
  • Your information must be accurate. You agree to give complete and truthful information. Missing or incorrect information can lead to a higher premium, denial of a claim, or cancellation of a policy.
  • Our role. We are an independent agency, and we place business with insurance companies we are appointed with. Your policy is a contract between you and the insurance company. The policy documents, not this website, set out the coverage.
  • Agency compensation. We are paid commissions by insurance companies and may receive other compensation from them or from premium finance companies. Ask us for details at any time.
  • Cancelling or changing coverage. Requests to change or cancel a policy take effect only when the insurance company processes them. Do not assume a change is made until you receive written confirmation.

3. Online tools, compliance information and our chat assistant

Our website tools, safety-score readings, DOT compliance reminders and filing alerts use public government data, such as federal motor carrier records, and our own calculations. They are for general information only:

  • They are not legal advice, and not an official determination by any federal agency, any state or any insurer.
  • Public data can be late or wrong. Always confirm deadlines and filing status with the issuing government agency or your state before relying on them.
  • You remain responsible for your own regulatory compliance.

Our website chat may be answered first by an automated assistant that uses artificial intelligence. It is not a licensed agent, cannot bind, change or cancel coverage, and may make mistakes. Do not rely on its answers about whether something is covered; a licensed agent will confirm coverage questions in writing.

4. Client portal accounts and acceptable use

If we give you access to our client portal, you agree to:

  • keep your sign-in details private and tell us right away if you think someone else has used them;
  • use the portal only for your own business and policies, or those you are authorized to manage; and
  • upload only documents you have the right to share.

You may not use the Services to break the law; to send spam or harmful code; to probe, scan or test the security of our systems; to scrape or copy data in bulk; or to pretend to be someone else. We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms or puts our clients or systems at risk.

5. SMS terms

Program: Assurance Group of America Quote & Policy Texts. Assurance Group of America, Inc. sends text messages about insurance quotes, renewals, policy service and account notices to people who request a quote, are our clients, or text us first.

  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to cancel, START to resubscribe, or HELP for help. You can also call (305) 200-5065.
  • Support: email support@assurancegroupofamerica.com, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern, or call (305) 200-5065.
  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying any insurance or service.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

Calls and email. We send text messages only when you check the separate text-message box on our forms or text us first, and an agent may call or email you about the request you submit. You can withdraw that consent at any time by telling us. Calls are made only between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. in your local time. Some calls are recorded, and we tell you at the start of a recorded call.

6. Payments, premium finance and partner services

  • We do not take premium payments through this website or the client portal. Premiums are paid to the insurance company, its authorized payment site, or a premium finance company, as shown on your invoice or finance agreement.
  • Premium finance is optional. If you choose it, your agreement is with the finance company. It sets the down payment, finance charge, payment dates and its own cancellation rights for non-payment. We will show you the terms before you sign.
  • Partner services such as DOT compliance monitoring, drug and alcohol testing programs, roadside assistance and business websites are provided by separate companies under their own terms. Buying, or not buying, a partner service never affects your insurance quote or eligibility.

7. Intellectual property and third-party links

The website, its text, graphics, logos, tools and software belong to Assurance Group of America, Inc. or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own business use, but you may not copy, sell or republish them without our written permission. Insurance company names and logos belong to those companies.

The Services may link to other websites, such as insurance company, government and payment sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies or availability.

8. Disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity

Website and tools “as is.” The website, online tools, chat assistant and compliance information are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of third-party or government data.

Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, Assurance Group of America is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, online tools or chat assistant. For those uses, our total liability is limited to $100.

What this section does not limit. Nothing in these terms limits our duties as a licensed insurance agency under the insurance laws of your state. It does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, and it does not take away any consumer right that cannot be waived.

Indemnity. You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs if you give us false information on purpose or misuse the Services in breach of these terms.

9. State notices, governing law and disputes

Licensing in your state. We quote and place insurance only in states where we hold a current resident or non-resident agency license, and every agent who sells to you is licensed in your state. Our current licensed states and license numbers are listed at www.assurancegroupofamerica.com/licenses/, and we update that page as we expand. If we are not yet licensed in your state, we will tell you before any quote is given and will not solicit insurance from you.

Your state’s insurance law comes first. Insurance sold to you is governed by the insurance laws of the state where the risk is located. If any part of these terms conflicts with your state’s insurance laws or regulations, those laws control, and the rest of these terms still apply.

Questions or complaints. Please contact us first and we will try to resolve the issue. You may also contact the department of insurance in your state at any time; you can find it through the National Association of Insurance Commissioners at content.naic.org.

Governing law and venue. Apart from the insurance laws that apply to your policy, these terms are governed by Florida law. Disputes about these terms will be heard in the state or federal courts serving St. Lucie County, Florida, unless the law of your state gives you the right to bring the claim where you live.

Changes. We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept it.

General. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.
